Session Types

FIRESIDE CHATS | Expect cozy conversations during these facilitated breakout sessions. Fireside Chats are designed as small-group unscripted discussions on a specific topic so come with questions or to share your expertise.

FIELD NOTES | These quick Epic-led presentations will showcase the latest development and strategy updates on a variety of topics. Hear the latest and greatest from the experts at Epic and get your questions answered from those in the know.

THINK ‘N’ TALKS | Think ‘n’ Talks (TnTs) are centered on a specific question. By bringing together smart people with experience and interest in these areas we’ll brainstorm cool ideas and get closer to answering the question. Facilitators and note-takers from Epic will be on hand to guide the discussion and send out a summary of all the ideas afterward.

MEET THE EXPERTS | Stop by and get to know experts from different teams. These loosely-structured conversations are a chance to meet the minds who are working on the future of Epic functionality. Bring your questions and your strategic priorities.

NETWORKING | Breaks between sessions are long enough to enable meaningful conversations between attendees. Roundtable breakouts are a good time to grab a snack and continue discussions on specific topics. An extended “Lunch-at-Your-Leisure” period includes opportunities to meet up and swap ideas. The Tuesday evening Summit Welcome Reception hosted downtown by the Capitol is another chance to keep connections going after a productive first day.
